The program has quickly gained popularity, with attendees reporting improved mobility and overall well-being. “You can move better, you are more independent, you’re stronger,” said Sylvia Gonzales, a participant in the program.This commitment to inclusivity ensures that all participants can benefit from the program, which focuses on enhancing flexibility, balance, and overall strength. “Being healthy and fit contributes to better flexibility, balance, and helps maintain body weight, bone health, and strength,” said Susan Krause manager of programs and facilities at Waco parks and Recreation.To further promote inclusivity, classes are taught by bilingual instructors, making it easier for non-English speakers to participate.
